STAGE 1 - MOCKUP - (BODY)


From multiple Gundam Age FX kit-bash as an idea, the client requested us to make a kit of its own taste using Gundam Age FX with HI-V Gundam color scheme.

MODIFICATION DRAFT DETAIL:


To add extra fin on the head unit pla-plate to be cut out with reference from AGE-FX head unit back fin.


In order for the shoulder flap from AGE-FX to fit into AGE-3 ORBITAL shoulder, inner parts of the shoulder need to be trim.


To extend the arm, the inner frame shoulder of AGE-FX are fit onto AGE-3 ORBITAL inner frame shoulder.


To saw off AGE 3 ORBITAL front end, and replace with AGE-FX.


To add on AGE 3 ORBITAL waist onto the kit. For a bulkier look, AGE-FX front skirt will be use.


Using the side skirt from AGE-FX and shoulder armor from AGE-FX to create a new skirt with some cutting and cement. AS for the back skirt will be created using pla-plate.

For a bulkier chest, AGE-FX crotch armor will be use.


Knee armor will be use from AGE ORBITAL and cement on to AGE-FX knee armor.


Using the Calves armor from AGE ORBITAL, the excess part of the armor are to be saw off.

STAGE 2 - THE 3 Cs - CUT, CONNECT & CEMENT


To make the shoulder fit perfectly, parts of the peg are cut off with nipper.


Inner part of the shoulder are trim off to make way for more motion on the shoulder flap.

Using a hobby knife point to cut the AGE 3 ORBITAL front end, and replace it with AGE-FX.


Both side of the AGE-FX skirt were cut off to make way for the shoulder plate armor.


For a bulkier waist AGE-FX front skirt were use with the ball joint cut off and cemented onto the waist of AGE 3 ORBITAL.


Hobby knife and cutter were use to cut the wanted design on the AGE ORBITAL armor.


Part or the AGE-FX armor were cut off to fit the new armor. After sanding all the rough edges, cement are use to make it into 1 armor piece
